I'm very happy about my decision to join all of you in this contest because you're so kind and you've demonstrated that yesterday in welcoming so warmly (I promise to proper introduce myself in the official thread later today  ...I'm so honored to represent my homeland  Italy here and I hope to succeed in letting you know more about the Italian music apart from the few artists well-know abroad! Ps. Maybe in the next few weeks I won't be very active because of my university exams but don't worry, I'll try to post and follow the threads as much as I can! |

I'm sorry to say that, but tbh, I'm strongly against the introduction of the third semi, because with the present-day format of semifinals (when people vote only in their respective semifinal) their outcome will depend too much on the smaller bunch of people; so it will be more a question of luck if you qualify or not :/
Maybe, it will help to let people vote in their semi and some other one - this will increase a number of voters in each semi and therefore contribute to making results more objective.

It's not decided yet at all, don't worry  I agree, if we only have 14 or 15 people in a semi-final, results might be more random and rely more on luck than in bigger semis. I just thought that it might be easier for many countries to qualify directly if they just need to beat 7 or 8 entries (in a semi-final of 15 if we keep this example) than 13 in a semi-final of 23 like it is now. But of course everything's got pros and cons I assume  The idea of letting others vote in another semi-final might be a bit complicated to manage, but it's certainly interesting and it might solve the above mentioned problem, so thanks for this suggestion  |

Tbh, it's nice having new people but hopefully the contest won't result into having a third semi final. Wouldn't have the time to listen to every song plus it'll be more work for the contest managers.

I'm also not a huge fan of a third semi. But neither of a semi with 23 countries - that's like a final  . But maybe you could make a poll about that once. Then you'll get the opinion of us. But obviously the final decision won't be made by the players.
