Second in the semi and 21st in the final. Seems like I caught the New Zealand virus  Congratulations to Mimis even though I'm not a great fan of this song (sorry  )  I'm happy to see Brazil second though. Most of my faves ended up really low, especially  Canada  but I would've also liked to see   Czechoslovakia higher. Well, ok. Huge thanks to  Mimis (sorry once again ) and  Dushan for their  and to  Stephanie, Jozef, LaVoix (Czechoslovakia once again ),  Vaneedas  and  Guyke for including me in your top 5 points. and of course, to all the rest who have voted for me. Since when is there the "rule" that there may be 4 songs of one edition are in the awards?  I know it happened already before in #34 so... We also did that in the 1st Awards Edition The reason there were exactly 10 entries in each category in the 2nd and the 3rd Awards Editions was simply because there weren't any ties However, since there are ties and the awards places are given points-wise,  Brazil and flakazakhstan Kazakhstan might have been 2nd and 3rd (since the first one got votes from more people) but their points are exactly the same so they both deserve the 2nd place. Hence, the 4th place of this edition (  Ireland) is considered to be 3rd but only for the Awards The direct finalists next edition though will be  Cyprus, Brazil and  Kazakhstan Oh!  Thanks for telling me. But in that case you made a mistake once. In #26  was tied with  but didn't go to the awards. And I find it a bit weird to see 4 songs in the awards but only 3 AQ. |

Usvit deserved much higher place for me. And I started to listen to other songs of Jamestown : Something in my garden is the best among them I think after Usvit. Anyway, we also did so in the 34th edition with  Hungary and  Israel and there were not any complaints about it so I don't get this "discussion" about  Ireland proceeding to the awards as a 3rd place and Kazakhstan and  Brazil going to the runner-ups... |
