I'm thinking about a  Lebanese debut. Even if  Israel is participating (mostly), I think the talk in the Israeli press conference with the Lebanese guy can "build bridges". One person (sadly) does not represent a country, the truth is, Lebanese law forbids any content relating to Israel, and until this law is in place, their broadcaster will not be able to show Israel's entry. The only two countries that could debut from the region are  Jordan and  Egypt, as both recognize and have normalized relations with Israel. |

They just said that Turkey will participate in 2016 in the Turkish news on TV.

Sorry for saying it this way: I just hope they will send something I like (which I doubt though) because I always hated their entries and found them overrated as hell.

I don't care about our entries anymore. I wait 3 years for Turkey to participate - no matter with which song! I want to see this flag in Eurovision and our country in the scoreboard. Not only me, so many Turkish Eurovision fans tried their everything to bring Turkey back. Some called TRT, wrote them letters and e-mail went to TRT for a meeting etc and it was a miracle that the old HoD changed. He hated Eurovision as hell. I'm sure that we'll send something great, the Turkish music industry has grown very much! |
