I just called TRT and they said that they still didn't decide about the participation, yet.

 The decision was taken after intense negotiations with the EBU, who indicated that this time, in view of the difficult financial situation BHRT caused by the drastic fall in income from the license fee, the Bosnian broadcaster has been given a grace period until the end of October try to find a sponsor to provide the financial means for Bosnia & Herzegovina to compete in the event next year.

Someone explain Basically the EBU are giving BHRT an extension beyond the October 10th initial deadline for them to possibly gain a sponsorship to help fund their participation. They have until late October to find funding for participation. Basically it just seems that the EBU are really keen to get them back that they're giving them more time, whether or not this will change things is unknown. So really they're not officially withdrawn from participating in 2016 until late October. |
