Now it is official, TRT announced via its teletext that Turkey won't return next year to Eurovision due to the votinh system and the Big 5 rule.  What a suprise that this decision came after AKP won the elections and the new HoD gave us so many hopes. Senol Göka, fuck you! You're so afraid that you even cannot make an announcement to the media. Just fuck you, fuck you TRT, fuck you all who are responsible for this decision. Turkey won't be back in the next 20 years. The EBU cannot change the rules just because one broadcaster act like a child. |

I think it's a stupid idea but what if Turkish singers that live abroad (  ,  etc.) could try to participate in their residence country's National Selection and if someone will get selected there, they unofficially could represent  Turkey and also complain about TRT on International media (if possible)  |

I am still asking myself why the hell does a successful country like Turkey complain about these rules?  No offence but tbh.. A less successful country I'd expect to complain about the rules. The top 5(6) is not agreeable by everyone - but tbh if it was top 5 of the previous year Turkey would be there a couple of times.. Hopefully 2017 will be their comeback! |

Senol Göka, the HoD even announced in 2012 on Twitter (before he was the HoD) that he don't think it's a good idea to give the voting system and the big 5 rule as a reason to withdraw. But now, he does the same.

I really can't find this a valid reason tbh. Turkey is the only one who is against this.
If you were in a group, that would probably change things.
One country withdrawing from those two reasons will not make EBU change their minds.
