and of course, people are already getting butthurt, and are also saying that they will boycot the contest next year.
They really need to understand that the rules never state that you have to be in europe to participate. Yes, there are countries like South Africa who are members, but they have barely shown any interest. Due to Australia having such a huge interest in ESC, they were allowed to participate. People also need to understand that just because it says EUROvision, doesn't mean its EUROpean only...
ESC does not this kind of negativity from their viewers...

The only thing about that post I find annoying is how they haven't officially said  Australia is a permanent participant.... I mean they're already going to participate a second time, you can't really kick them out  Since Pandora's Box is basically wide open now, I'd like to see their neighbours  join in the next 10-15 years or so  |

I expected that to come tbh. and never really liked the idea. There remain two questions for me 1. Are they going to be in the semis? 2. Will it be hosted in Europe if they win? |
