So now it's a 50/50 split voting for whole Europe instead of every single country?

I actually think this is cool, but my main concern is that this way the Eurovision spirit is switched by the Melodifestivalen spirit. Eurovision was just perfect before that, and it's true that there was a point in which you knew the winner, but last year it was rough between Sweden and Russia.
My only hopes is that the chosen host (I hope it's not Sweden for this reason) abolishes this ravage next year.

Too many new things for me.
For now I hate it, tho I will probably like it during the show. But new things are always bad for me at first.
