RTÉ (Raidió Telifís Éireann) confirms that  Ireland will return to Junior North Vision Song Contest, as we previously stated having permission from the Irish delegation.
The act will be selected internally. |

After another bad position,  Israel confirms!
However, in a press conference with the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, it was decided that they would choose the artist internally. Later in the conference, the head of delegation brought up about Edi Shukha, who represented the country in the editions 4, 5 and 6. This caused many people to be angry due to the lack of points with him, but during debut Adi Bity managed to get 69 points. It was later agreed by all members that Edi Shukha would not represent the country this edition, to let other young Israeli singers a chance. Edi Shukha later said he agreed as it wasn't fair for other singers.
