This entry for  UK is a brave choice! Knowing that there are many older people watching and voting in ESC, this could be their jam...  As I'm also a fan of this kind of music, I like it too Plus, this song could get many points from international juries But as this song is a brave choice (50/50), then it might fail as well, although I hope it won't |

1st off I'm sorry if I pissed people off last night. I was in a bad mood and people not liking the song made me angry for some reason
2. I think the BBC have been clever. They have chosen a song that isn't the normal kinda stuff that comes out if the UK. People hating on the song (its the Marmite of this edition) are actually giving it more PR therefore enhancing its exposure. The BBC have gone out on a limb and I love

As a person that resides in British territory (and wants to become independent), I apologise on the behalf of the BBC for this mess of an act. I am still really confused by it and don't think it will do very well but i am actually starting to like it haha. Its not the usual ESC song that appears in the contest. I was a bit defensive last night, so I apologise to anyone who I hated on last night. Things IRL aren't great atm. I also was confused when I heard it, but when I evaluated it against the other songs of the competition so far, it shone out against all the ballads that have been selected. If we can get some good charleston Dancers and have Elctro Velvet dancing themselves then we could be in a chance. But we need to hear them live too. |
