In OVSC, I'm almost always left in the semi- or never place well in the final. I think I've only placed well twice with Ring Meg and Would You Go With Me (2nd & 5th) and Ring Meg WAS the first SotD
But let's see, my fails...
OVSC 5- MY automatic qualifier ended up in 12th, which is good for an automatic, so I don't consider this a fail.
OVSC 7- Alien Beat Club (My Way)- 14th in semi [Denmark]
OVSC 8- Noemi and Fiorella Mannoia (L'Amore si Odia) - last in final (automatic qualifier) [Italy]
OVSC 9- OVSC 9- Maria Cecelia & Rodolfo (Tres Palavras)- 12 in semi [debuted Brazil]
OVSC 10- Laleh (Big City Love) 12th in semi [debuted Iran]
OVSC 11- Kiwi (Love Love Love) 12th in semi [debuted Mongolia]
OVSC 12- Nightwish (Over The Hills and Far Away) 11th in final [Finland; this is one of my favorite songs of all time so I was hoping at least 6th place :/]
OVSC 13- The Band Perry (Hip To My Heart) 12th in semi [USA...I FINALLY got my home country...and it fails

OVSC 14- Josh Turner (Would You Go With Me)- 5th in final [USA; I was hoping for 1-3 so it could have a shot at being the SoTd...BUT. I was sooo happy a COUNTRY song from USA did so well. The lyrics and music are beautiful.]
OVSC 15- Meg & Dia (Are There Giants Too, In The Dance?) -4th in semi....13th in final? [South Korea]
I don't consider my 8th place in OVSC 16 final a fail.
OVSC 17- Owl City (Deer In The Headlights) - 13th in final [USA]
OVSC 18- LeAnn Rimes (Nothin' 'bout Love Makes Sense)- 16th in semi [USA]
OVSC 19- Regina Spektor (Fidelity)- 15th in final [Russia]
I don't consider my 7th place in OVSC 20 a fail.
OVSC 21- Train (Drops of Jupiter)- 11th in final [USA, this is my 2nd favorite song of all time. This should've placed a lot higher in my opinion,, but...ah well.]
For OVSC 22-24 I hosted national selections.
I came in last in the 7th edition and second last in the 5th edition
