Should the Big 6 be introduced?
Since this topic has been brought up in the NBU council, the members
were pretty undecided about introducing a Big 6 to the contest.
The NBU has now decided to let the viewers and HoDs decide about
this topic. Here are the pros and cons for a Big 6:
+ One less Semi-finalist -> One more PQR qualifier
+ Easier way to reach 20 instead of 21 Semi-finalists
+ Would not influence qualifying chances
- A "Big 6" sounds "strange" opposed to "Big 5"
- "Unfair" for Top 6 places of editions before
- Could be seen as a "copy" from other contests
