Bareilles was born and raised in Eureka, California ... Beside the fact this is really overused. I wonder how you "research" your songs. She is of Italian, English, German, Portuguese, and French descent; she speaks Italian and lived in Italy for a year. Im sorry in the official Wikia i saw that Israel is allowed to send Gavin DeGraw and if that's true, why Israel can send Gavin DeGraw who doesn't seems to have any connection to Israel (the only thing i find out is that he is Jew but pls you can be jew and COME FROM ANY PART OF THE WORLD, its like saying that all the catholics are from Rome) and i am not allowed to send Sara Bareilles? Ok.. But whatever i don't want to start a controvery.. So i will send Katia Aveiro my 2nd option  PORTUGUESE ENTRY FOR #24

And this is not accepted. It's not my problem if you aren't able to send something everyone else is able to and Portugal has enough music, I've had it in NVSC for three editions and had three selections. I won't discuss what I accept with anyone else since it's not up to you to decide if you think it's right for it to participate or not. Otherwise I recommend you to search for a contest where the host doesn't care for his contest. |
