The order in which the mentors are listed are the order in which they get to choose which act they wish to mentor, if an act or song has not been chosen before the date stated (which is the one on which the song shall be announced) one will be chosen for you. You may send a song before it is your turn, however you'll be recommended to send a back up unless the act you selected gets picked before you have the chance.
