Here's to hoping the EBU won't make a dumbass move and that the baby bump doesn't symbolise 'a new era for the Eurovision Song Contest' or something like that, because these days when the EBU says 'something new', all I can think about is  China joining or some other ridiculously irrelevant country..... As much as I would like to see my own country  join, the contest has to stay purely European for reasons of integrity and purity.... Where's the Euro in Eurovision if China's there? |

People need to stop confusing "Eurovision" with "Europe" because ever since Israel, Marocco etc joined, the contest hasn't been purely European anymore. And where's the 'building bridges' and 'we are one' now we told to ourselves the previous years? Building bridges to China could be so amazing or inviting another country every year would be so great to see but in my opinion people are just too close minded for that. |
