I haven't done this since like 2015, so I guess it's time to refresh it, even though not a huge amount has changed since. Plus, I don't think I'll have as much free time as I do right now very soon, so better do it now, than wait who knows how long
I don't know, how many of you will be interested to read anything about me, but maybe there will be a few, which is better than none
Shovkovskyi/Peter(21/08/2019)● Basic Information(basic overview)Name: Pēteris (Peter in english)
Age: 26 (very soon to be 27)
Birthday: 2 September, 1992
Sex/Gender: Male
Country:
Latvia
Origin:
Latvian (6.999/8),
Lithuanian (1/8) and probably a 0.001 chance on
german or prusian ancestry.
Residence: Near city of Skrunda,
Latvia
Education/Career: History and social studies teacher / not working as one just yet, but I probably will later on, when my financial situation will be stable
Body Mass/BMI: 173 cm and a bit overweight (damn you university, dorms and unhealthy food!
), but I plan on getting that sorted back to what I used to be soon.
Skin/Hair/Eye Colour: pale white/brown/greyish-blue (although some people have said they also see a bit of green there)
Other: I look younger than I am. (That's actually in our family). I'm still frequently asked for an ID, when someone's not sure if I'm 18 or not. (forgot to add this)
● Social NetworksDon't want to waste time on adding links here, but if you want to find me - some forumers have me as their friend on facebook, so yeah... next step is up to you...
● Extended InformationHobbies: sports (although in past couple years haven't had much time to do any, but I'm starting again now), cooking, listening to music, playing pc games, history, geography etc.
Characteristics: calm; gentle; sometimes I whine a bit, but who doesn't (I try to get rid of this habit though as much as possible); always trying my best with everything I do; trustful; helpful (as much as it's in my power) etc.
Habits: I used to bite my nails quite a lot (mostly because of stressful situations), but now I'm trying to get rid of that habit and so far I'm doing quite well
Personality type: The test gave me "Defender (ISFJ-T)" (which actually is pretty accurate) so make of it what you will
Introvert, Extrovert or Ambivert: Even though tests say that I'm a total introvert, I feel myself more of an outgoing introvert (someone who can be outgoing in certain situations), which is more of an ambivert than introvert.
Civil status: single
Sexual & romantic orientation: In terms of this nothing really has changed since the last time I did this introduction, so I'll write the same - Heterosexual/Heteroromantic, Gynoromantic, Demiromantic, Recipromantic, Cupioromantic (somewhere between all these
)
Religion: Catholic (although I'm not an often guest in church)
Political spectrum: Even though all my life I've been more of a left wing supporter, lately (mostly thank's to my university education) I've become to admit, that all sides have their pros and cons. So basically now I support those, who care about their nation, who want to make good things actually happen and are making them happen etc. It doesn't matter if you're left or right wing - as long as you do good things and less bullsh*t, I'm ok with that.
Goals: I've got a few minor goals, but the main goal is to have a family, that supports each other no matter what and that we don't have to live on monthly basis - from one paycheck to the next one (which has been the case for me for most of my life).
Personal anthem (song describing you well): There isn't a single song, that describes me 100%, but there are a few that I feel like have gotten pretty close to, what me and my experiences of life have been so far. For example, "The middle" by Jimmy Eat World, "Welcome to my life" & "I'm just a kid" by Simple Plan (I feel like Simple Plan know me very well) & "Feel" by Robbie Williams (though all these songs sound like I'm very depressed person, which I'm not (maybe very light depression relating to some situations in my life). But the one song closest to the current situation is "Here I go again" by Whitesnake. I know this post is supposed to be only about me, but just wanted to mention that there is one song, that describes my relationship with my father like 99% as it actually is: "Perfect" by Simple Plan (yup, them again).
P.S. If you don't like rock music - don't listen to these songs, but just read the lyrics to understand, what I'm talking about here.
Disability/illness: Luckily I don't have any illness or disability that is life threatening (though my life has been quite rough anyway), but eye-sight is one thing I need glasses for.
Important event: So far I guess it's the graduation from university.
3 Amazing Things about you: 1. I'm a good listener. 2. I always try to do my best (if I feel it's worth it). 3. I don't promise anything that I know I won't be able to fulfill.
Are you happy?: Kinda, but I'll be truly happy only, if my main goal comes true.
● I like ...Contest/Competition: ESC, FIFA World Cup, Biathlon World Cup, Olympic Games from the real ones;
WWWSC & Themed WwWSC, as well as
Retro WWWSC and
Homeland Song Contest from fictional.
Genre: Even though rock is my favorite genre in music, that doesn't mean I like all rock songs or that I dislike songs from other genres. As for movies and books - Comedy, Drama, Romantic, Adventure, Action / Detective are the one's on top.
Song (current, all-time): I like many songs, but my all time favorite since I first heard it - "Angels" by Robbie Williams.
Artist/Group: I don't want to go into details, because there's enough musicians I like, but from those that I've liked for most of my life I can name
Robbie Williams,
Avril Lavigne & Shania Twain, from bands
Nickelback & Simple Plan (yeah, i know - looks very canadian
) and many others.
Movie: there are many great movies and TV series, but some of my favorite movies are "Van Wilder", "The Pacifier", "Cool Runnings", "The Breakfast Club", "All About Steve", "Take the Lead", "Love Actually", "Bandslam", "Lemonade Mouth" & "Transporter", but my favorite TV series is undoubtedly "The Big Bang Theory".
Book: "The Three Musketeers" by
Alexandre Dumas (I feel I great connection to this book, because I've been in a play, that is based on this book/story)
Game: FIFA, F1, Motorsport Manager etc. Used to be NHL, but since it's not on PC anymore, I haven't played it. (I'm more of a sports game player, as you can see)
Food: As long as it's cooked properly, I like a lot of things..
Drink: I mostly drink water and tea, but it doesn't mean I dislike other drinks...
Odour: freshly cooked meat and potatoes
On TV: see the "movie" section
Number: 3, 6, 8
Colour: green
Person (no forumers):
Gordon Ramsay
● I dislike ...Song (current, all-time): there are quite a few, but I don't want to start listing them now...
Movie: could say the same as for songs
Game: even though FIFA is one of my favorite games, FUT is one thing I don't enjoy in that game. I'm more of a career mode player
Food: Everything, that is not cooked properly... (but no food in particular)
Drink: haven't had that big of a variety of drinks, to name one, that I truly dislike, but there are a few, that I'm not very keen on enjoying anymore anytime soon...
Country: As a geography lover I can't name one (or more) country, that I dislike, because every country has their own beauty, just like we people do
Flag: the same as with countries
Anthem: the same as with flags and countries
City: the same again
On TV: reality shows, that are way too scripted
