If we switch back to the old system id like to have France again like i did before, I hope whatever you choose that you stick to it. All the countries are saved to the users from #21 and will only become free if you either switch with someone, take another country, or don't miss to confirm for 27  So it is official we will return to the old format ? I would love to have  Greenland back  |

Today it can be revealed that after five editions of random countries, the IMF will return to the old system.
Various reason led to that decision:
- Too many users wanting to participate (as there will be some users that will not participate (don't take it personal please) , there will be more space for those who participate and also for the new users.)
- The usage of more unoriginal choices than before
- The fact that quite a lot of users did not want to spend time on finding an entry for a normal country
and last but not least I pretty much lost my fun in doing the contest as it is now to be really honest.
Please accept that I prefer the old system. After working with the random system it was getting really annoying especially during the submission phase.
I can understand if there are (many) people who can't follow my decision or are angry about it but it was my decision to do so.
This means that you can now confirm with your old country. All the countries of the 21st edition are reserved, however the non-active users have been removed, so those countries are now free.
This is the list of the current potential IMF 27 participants. You have to confirm your participation to be able to save your country, otherwise you might lose it.
~Rethnas~ Greenland is technically not longer able to participate, but if you don't want to pick one of the free countries you might continue participating with it.
Remember that the 26th edition will be completely held so there is no need to withdraw from that edition.
