Sweden have 3 silver medals so far but we have a confirmed 4th medal in Sailing. We don't know if it will be gold, silver or bronze though. I don't know how the Sailing works so I'm not quite sure how they can have a confirmed medal already. They are going to continue the Sailing tomorrow I think and then they will get the medal. I guess no one can reach the top 3 in points or something.
By the way Sweden and Switzerland finished on the same time in triathlon today but after looking at the goal line photo, it was determined Switzerland was first. Couldn't get closer. Well I guess it could get a little closer since they determined she was 0.009 seconds behind the winner. ;D
USA - 99 94 - Lithuania
Saw the game and it was so close! I hope Lithuania can make it far in the basketball tournament. They withstood the Americans so well. The US team completely slaughtered Nigeria the other day by 150 to 70 or something like that. ;D Wasn't so fun to watch. It should be close so it's more exciting.
3 in athletics, 2 in rowing (+1 silver) and 1 in cycling - amazing evening
I saw the athletics gold medals for UK: men's 10000 metres, women's heptathlon and of course men's longjump where Sweden was 4th... I'm half british so I want it to go well for both Sweden and Team GB.
Too bad were eliminated in the football quarter finals, both the women and men, to Canada and South Korea respectively. The men lost in penalties, an English tradition.
