Tbh. I'm prepared for (almost) everything.  But question: The "lyrical topic" will obvs be similar to the one we had in #30, but can we associate the part we get also refer to the artist? I guess that would be acceptable  But more details will be clarified if that theme is actually chosen |

Everything except last theme will be good enough for me. I don't want the last theme, because then I'll have to use Lauris Reiniks again - 3rd time in this contest and 2nd time in a row in special edition... but I don't want to use him again - not yet...

The survey is now closed.We've collected 43 responses and the voting has been going on for almost 3 weeks, so I think it's time to announce the winner and the theme for Edition #40! Thanks to everyone for participating! The winner theme is:Song of the most successful WWWSC artist (sending the artist again that got the best result in the contest for your country)!!!  Full results:
1. Song of the most successful artist - 15 2. Troll Edition - 14 3. Traditional Songs - 13 3. Forgotten Genres - 13 5. Lyrics Quote - 11 5. Motivational Songs - 11 7. Covers - 6 The results were much closer than I had thought they would be, and I'm personally surprised about that outcome. Let's take it as an opportunity to celebrate our best-placed singers and groups, we'll definitely have a great line-up! 
Short explanation what this topic is about:
--> You have to send the artist that got the best result for your country in WWWSC again, but with another song!
--> If there are two or more of them, you can pick who you want to send.
Example: The best results for  France were the 1st places of Indila (#26) and Najoua Belyzel (#30). So the French player can choose which one of them she wants to send again.
Another example:  Australia's best result were the victories of Dami Im (#25) and Guy Sebastian ft. Lupe Fiasco (#24). One of these acts have to be chosen again. In case of a collaboration, it's not necessary to send a song from all artists again, here in this example it would be possible to send a song interpreted by Guy Sebastian alone too. Also Guy Sebastian featuring another singer/group would be allowed.
--> If the artist you have to send only got one song (which might be possible), and you can prove this, you'll be allowed to send your 2nd best-placed artist. Please inform me in case of such difficulties.
--> The rule that you cannot send an artist twice in a row will be cancelled for this edition, so if you get your best result in Edition #39, you'll be able to send this artist again.
--> The whole contest history will be considered! So if another player before you got the best result for your country, you'll have to take this one.
As many of you are rather new here and to make it easier for everyone, I'll post a list of all artists that are allowed to be sent. That one will be published after the results of WWWSC #39 in the new thread for Edition #40.
Alternatively, you can also look up your country's best result yourself on our website, but that's not really necessary due to what I posted above.
I think that's the most important information for now, if you have any questions, just ask
