My suggestions :
- Metal songs ; ( almost all countries have famous metal bands so not difficult)
-Songs sung by children performers ;
- Instrumental jazz songs ;
-Retro rock songs.

Some ideas: 1. Everyone gets a letter and their song title has to start with that letter ( i guess we should exclude Q though, that's not easy in most languages  ) The running order could be the alphabet  Of course there must be some letters that are given to two players. ^ This. I don't want the special edition to be related towards a specific genre or genres, as it makes it hard for some people to send songs in some areas. |

^ Agree there. However I always find special editions difficult - if the topic is not something like the national language or so.

I can understand people about "one genre" themes, but I hope they're not also talking about "traditional/ethnic" theme, because every country has their own ethnic music and their styles may vary from rock, to folk, from ballades to "Balkan style" music (this one's mostly greek, but also other Balkan coutries have this style) |
