I would really love to have an edition for choirs - with videos, not images. Almost every country has this show called "Choir Wars" or something like that, which means they would be able to participate. I know most of the songs would be covers, but I think this would be a great chance not to only hear, but also see, what those choirs are capable of  I sent almost all songs of me with video but then remember wwwsc use pics |

But in terms of ideas for the 40th edition, hopefully I'm not late, how about:
* Male or Female Artists only
* Songs with the theme 'Colours'
* 60's Songs
* Songs from Movies
* Managers give themes for each Player (can be anything they like ... like Poland gets 'Flowers' and Latvia gets 'Magic' or something like that ... be creative!!)
Also, I still have my WWWSC 38 'Real Love' image for my signature, I'd like one for the 39 edition if that's OK.

OK everyone, we've come to a decision concerning the special edition:
Just as before the 30th Edition, we'll have a poll again. Some of the suggested themes will be included there and the most voted one will be taken for the 40th Edition.
This poll will be made via surveymonkey.com, it should be ready very soon. All participants will get the link to the survey in a PM and will be asked to vote there for up to 2 themes. You'll also get tagged here in this thread when the time has come.
Probably the voting will be open until the end of the 39th Edition and the theme will be published together with the final results. If the big majority of participants votes earlier, it might be closed earlier too. But no need to rush either 
I think we've collected many very nice and interesting ideas, it's a pity not all could be used for the survey, but that's how it goes.
Still thanks to everyone for making your mind up and for posting your ideas.

We don't know yet, but it probably won't be much longer than usually (could also depend on the chosen theme, some are maybe more difficult than others). Short NFs should definitely be possible, otherwise you'll have to select internally. We cannot be considerate of everything logically  |

The only thing we can say is that an announcement about the topic of the special edition will be made at the video of the results of WWW Song Contest #40... After that, you will be able to submit your entries but the time will be as normally, around 7 - 10 days...It surely varies and depends on many things though Hope that's a good answer for you Shovkovskyi/Peter |

SanBeanzie some good ideas I think. But generally I'm really wondering how this will turn out. I'm sure it wont't be a metal/rock/rap hip-hop edition.
