08. KARL KLEVAN  This is Karl Klevan, a 20 year old from Tรธnsberg in Norway.
Youโve heard of YouTube stars becoming popstars
โ well Karl is a โVine starโ in Norway, apparently.
And now he got his chance to participate among well-known musicians with the song "Play Along".
Whatโs it like? A slick, well produced electropop track with an instant chorus and a dramatic post-chorus.
The first verse is a bit of a challenge, but if you stick with it then youโre rewarded with a cracking great pop song.

09. ANNIE ft. BJARNE MELGAARD 
Anne Lilia Berge Strand, better known by her stage name Annie, is a Norwegian singer, songwriter, record producer and DJ. Annie began her recording career in 1999 with the underground hit single "The Greatest Hit" and gained international acclaim, particularly from music bloggers, for her debut album Anniemal (2004).
Annieโs mounted her soapbox for her DNS song entry. Itโs called "Russian Kiss", not to support the country, but rather to take a stand against a couple of things. Mainly Vladimir Putinโs well publicised stance on gay rights โ in that he doesnโt believe in them. But also sheโs sticking the knife in closer to home too, in her native Norway. โIn Norway, the political leadership has rejected calls to remain at home. This could have been an occasion for Norway to stand up for the fundamental right to express your feelings towards the one you love.โ And so where Norway has failed, Annie has stepped in to right the wrong. Sheโs crafted the song "Russian Kiss" along with Bjarne Melgaard, and with longtime collaborator Richard X on production duties.
Itโs a pulsating electro track which starts off as a bit of a raver, before slowing down to allow a chant, and then breaking down altogether to showcase some sexual moans and grunts. Then it goes back to being a rave again. And weโre all for a legitimate excuse to be pro-gay AND dance at the same time.
Sheโs also made an eye catching video for the song, which you can watch below. Directed by Richard Kern. Contains flesh and tongue.One act left to be announced. Who could it be?

10. SANDRA LYNG 
Sandra Lyng Haugen rose to popularity after her participation in the TV 2 program in which she placed fourth in Idol: Jakten pรฅ en superstjerne 2004, the Norwegian version of Pop Idol.
This will be Sandra's third attempt to participate in the North Vision Song Contest. She first participated in the Danish national selection (DMGP 05) coming sixth. She came closer in the last edition of DNS, when she finished 4th. Will this be the third and lucky time for her?
"Play my Drum" starts off as a regular Sandra Lyng track pretty sharpish ascends into a summer flavoured, holiday resort friendly, sax solo stupor!
Yeah but how good is it? It sounds like a cross between a really good Romanian Eurovision entry of the 00s, and a really good Romania trans-European dance hit of the 10s. And thatโs obviously pretty damn awesome.
