@fizzyfrost
I gave the wrong version of the song without thinking. I actually didn't know that they re-released the song in the 90's!! I'll post the 80's version I wanted.

Ireland
Will send Máire Brennan to the first retro WWWSC!
This specific song, "To the Water" is from her 1999 album "Whisper to the Wild Water"
(2:10-) A little background: Born in 1952 in Donegal, Ireland, she has 4 sisters and 4 brothers - of which the most known is Enya.
She specializes more or less in folk music; more known as part of Clannad, a popular Celtic band in the 1970's especially. Not only does she sing in English, but she does have songs in Irish too. I will even consider one for WWWSC and here, but in the future. I plan to send Irish and English songs to this contest. Hope you like it

omg 9 children! Poor parents. Well back then, it was actually common in Ireland that there were huge families, mainly for helping their parents on the farm and supporting them in their old age - from the topic of overpopulation in geography we discussed this But luckily times have changed #offtopic

I couldn't imagine having 8 siblings.
