Sorry the thread was blocked while I was writing.
First of all, it is unrealistic, but that's kind of the point of the PQRs. The PQR is up to the hosts. They have right to do the design they want, the host and the venue they want using their creativity, imagination, fun and effort. Hosts can either choose to make it fun, serious or entertaining. Logan may have used that elements in his way, and for example I used it in a different way.
Secondly, the host hasn't been chosen yet. It could be chosen Slovakia, Slovenia, Armenia, San Marino, Russia or any other country who has applied or has the plans to apply. It is in the hands of the people to choose the host.
Third thing third, this has gone way too far in my opinion.
And last but not least important, if you don't like that bid, don't vote it and that's it.

Okay it went to far.. And i hope this thread won't be locked too while i am writing. I understand it all started because of me and i never expected that i would be the reason that a thread would be closed... i am deeply sorry about that. My intention was no to bring any fight, i was just trying to "save" the contest, and when i saw that logo with mista and the cheese, which was totally stupid imo, i just got more annoyed and then it started, I should have just ignored it, but today i woke up on the wrong side and perhaps my behaviour is because of this... I can get a joke, i am not a butthurt who is always being serious, but that was just too much, especially that it was accepted as something serious. Anyway, i want to say sorry to everyone who was part if this, i am just sad it reached that far... and that it happened because of me. I want to stay far from forums some time... i mean i'll try to not write anything because i believe people need time to forget my behaviour. Sorry once again, especialy Logan, @nbu, and others. |

Sorry, but I can't hold it back. I just need to take off my feelings on what happened today... Seriously guys, this fights and conflicts here in the NVSC board made me cry (I just read through it). I mean, everyone has its own point of view, everyone has its opinion, but does is necessarily need to get drawn out to such a fight? I am so sorry, but if it continues like that, there will be a specific point where I will just log in into the forums and be like... (open the spoiler)  ...and I'll leave because such fights both get on my nerves and make me wanna cry. There were so many fights and conflicts in the past, many forumers might remember them. I was never affected by them, however it's still a depressing feeling reading through that. I tried to stay discreet, but today's event really is the limit! I mean, thank God I wasn't online at the forums, and I wouldn't have wished to, really. But... ...I am speechless. I haven't expected the situation to escalate that quickly again. I am, I got used to it due to past conflicts here. However I thought that everyone learned out of these fights. I am now generally talking about people who don't agree with something that have posted in here (might it be a bid, or an opinion, doesn't matter). If you are not happy with it, then why dafuq you even react then? Who is telling you to tell that person that it's bullshit what he is doing/saying/whatever? Sometimes there are certain things you should keep for yourself. And it's better if you keep it for yourself... I didn't mean to offend ANYONE of you by that, but that should be a warning for everyone, including me. Thinking about what happened in the last couple of hours, I think I should forget about it very fast. However I think I won't ever feel as comfortable as it was before today again. I am excusing again for taking out my anger on this, I just couldn't. And please, I beg you, the forum is one of my favourite places to be, and don't ruin it by actions like a few hours ago! That's all I will tell about me thinking of this. Thanks P.S.: Please don't quote or tag me if it has to do with today's "special" event. I don't want to see anything about it again. At the end of day - after reading through the whole thread - the whole thing went far too far and was melodramatic.
There's a simple thing to do if you don't like something, you let it go over your head and you don't let it phase you. You don't suddenly make statements to then continue on because as we all see - more people get involved and it causes an argument.
Now then, in respect to those of who run NVSC, design the themes, make the videos, make the scoreboards - the NBU council - you do an immense job especially when you think about the factors of your actual daily life such as school, homework, exams etc.
Now, this is not aimed at those on the council, but when people make their reactions and arguments happen you need to remember two key factors -
1) This is the internet not the real world.
2) The real world is where actual very important problems happen
That is what has annoyed and frustrated me tonight. When I read comments such as "i'm a first world problem", no offence - but you're not.
First World problems are like what happened within less than 5Km's of Blandine's house last Friday when some 129 people were murdered, when a bomb was detonated in Lebanon, when that plane was exploded flying from Egypt to Russia.
First World problems are also that moment when a man or woman is told s/he has cancer, or their child has leukaemia, or someone in their family needs an organ transplant ...
If you don't have anything positive to say - then don't anything. That way, no arguments will happen.
