  ICELAND IS BACK!
Today, the Icelandic broadcasterย RรV announced that Iceland will participate in the 17th edition of the Northvision Song Contest.
The new HoD also said that the entry will be selected internally. The song will be announced in November.

 Denmark confirms participation!Copenhagen, Denmark โ DR has finally confirmed the country's participation in the 17th edition. The Head of Delegation had already hinted about a week ago that the broadcaster was selecting songs for the selection but it was only confirmed officially today, during a press conference.
"We are definitely going to participate in the next edition. The contest is one of DR's priorities at the moment and we're doing our best to keep it this way."
It was also revealed that the twelfth edition of the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will be held in order to select the next Danish entry. The songs for the selection have been already selected and the announcements are expected to start by the next week. The format of the selection was not revealed but it is expected to be the same as last edition. |

 TVR confirms that Romania will participate in North Vision Song Contest #17!
The entry will be selected through national selection "Un cantec pentru Romania 09"!
