  The Irish have chosen their representative Dublin, Today - After the rumours were flying about a female singer,the rumours were respectively CONFIRMED!After those rumours were confirmed, RTE decided to confirm the irish representative. The singer who will have the opportutinity to defend her country's previous succesfull place (  nd) is a new-comer at the music industry and she is ... JESSICA SMITH  Jessica Smith is a young and talented singer/song writer from Dublin.
Born into a musical family she was exposed to a plethora of influences and styles which have helped her become a very versatile and flexible artist, singing everything from pop to soul and rock and every genre in between.
Jessicaβs passion for music began at a young age from singing in choirs to taking part in school plays.
She is new at the music industry confirming on a statement her reaction about her participation at the  International Music Festival #31:
"I'm really happy with my participation at the contest!The invitation came really quick to me from RTE,and I can say I accept it without any second thinking!Music is my biggest love,so it makes me even more happy and proud to represent my country Ireland at this really amazing competition!"
She will be performing her song:
"50/50"
