Fantastic Games II (Winter 2015/2016) ApplicationsAfter the first Fantastic Games have been closed, the bids for the next Fantastic Games
have just begun. The second Games will be held in January 2016. Any country that is
not part of Centralia can apply for the event. Your bid should include a logo, the host
city followed by "Winter 2015/2016" and the Fantastic Games logo (link).The submissions will close on Saturday, 7 November 2015.Once the submissions are closed, all applicants will be presented and there will be
a poll, everyone can vote in. The top three of that poll will go through the second where
in a new poll, everyone can vote once again. The top 2 of the second round will go to
the final round where in the last poll again everybody can vote. The host will be decided here.You can post your submissions in this thread (please not by PM). The Teaoan Fantastic assembly has already decided some time ago, that they would want to bid for the Fantastics this winter!
The assembly has voted secretly between Kaupmennheimen, Isosatama and Concilium, and they chose our glorious capital.

Torch Relay
The torch relay for Concilium Winter 2015/6 would consist of two main parts, one from Koldhaven, the last host city around whole Fantasia and one through all nine admistrative divisions of Te Ao. Here are two maps, showing the planned relay.
 
(I tried to remember where you capital was located, if I couldn't I just chose a random spot. Sorry if your country isn't included, I just chose the countries we are going through by making a realistic way through the world  )

Despite that it will be Summer in Lakadamia,  Lakadamia is going to bid, but in what city, it's quite unknown for the moment, because 5 Cities can get this opportunity to be selected for the Lakadamian bid :

- Misneyne
- Milnev
- Ovakeia
- Orsavia

Dyria won't bid!
By request of the president of Dyria, the country has decided not to bid for the games this winter.
The president stated that such a move is not possible at this point, stating that the construction of possible arenas have only started these past few months, and would have to be halted in December, due to extreme temperature.
The main arena in Dyria is in Dyflinnjaborg, the capital. It would be used if Dyria would win Fantasia Contest.
However, she did state that a bid for the spring OR summer games in 2016 would be "absolutely" possible. Here's the official text:
"Sadly, I announce that my country will not be bidding for the winter games. Our workers couldn't be subject to such temperatures when working. As you know our location says a lot when it comes to temperature. However, I can assure you that it's absolutely possible by the time the summer comes around, the arenas will be finished and will be suitable for the games. I apologize for any inconvenience."

As now, only 2 Cities are in the run for being selected for the Lakadamian Bid : Misneyne & Milnev. They are the First and Third City (by population) of Lakadamia, by having 3 and 1,8 Millions of Population. The Lakadamian bid will probably be reveal on Friday or Saturday.

  Misneyne, biggest city by population of  Manto Du Nord, and of Lakadamia, with 3,2 Millions of population, is selected to be the city for the Lakadamian Bid, after winning with 3 Votes, against 2, for  Milnev.Misneyne is located in the Northern of the Southern Easton continent, in the Eastern, and what is now named Old Lakadamia. By the population, Misneyne is, with being the first city of Lakadamia, the capital of the Territory of Manto Du Nord. The city is located in the Southern part of the Bay of Misneyne, which offers an access to the Pacifican Ocean, to the city. The city is connected to the rest of the Old Lakadamia, by the road, or by train.The theme of these games, are wanted to show Lakadamia, as an united country, and continent, with the rest of the world, and decided to take the slogan of the last Games, Unity. The triangles of the logo represent each population, which are different, but which can be united, for the best !The Fantastic Games Park, where most of the Arenas & Stadiums are, is divided into 2 Parts, the Central Misneyne, where 90% of the Games will be, and the Bay of Misneyne, where 10% are going to be held.Here is a plan, which can be changed, depending of what sports are going to be played :  The Olympic Stadium, located in the center, will be the "main" arena, where the Opening and Closing ceremony are going to be made, and where also the Athletic and Achery Events are going to be held.Little view of the Arena :  2 โข The Park Hall, is a small building, which where all Gymnastic Events are going to be made. It's a temporary Arena.3 โข The Ice Center, is an Arena... for the Ice Hockey Events, it's also the biggest arena consacred to Ice Hockey in Lakadamia, with 14.000 Seats.4 โข The Misneyne Basketball Center is, again an Arena, used for the Basketball Events, it's, once again, one of the biggest arenas, with 31.000 Seats, in a nation like Lakadamia, which loves Basketball, it was necesarry to have one of the biggest Arena consacred to Basketball.5 โข The Misneyne Cyclodrome, is an arena used for the Cyclism Events.8 & 9 โข The Bay of Misneyne will also be used, unlike Koldhaven, Misneyne doesn't have any lake or rivers, so we have to use our lovely Bay for the Rowing (9) and the Canoe (8) Events.10 โข The Misneyne Aquadome, is... a dome, which will be used for the Swimming Events.11 โข And finally, for concluding, the Misneyne Arena, is one of the arena which are already built, they are used, for every type of sports, from Basketball to Gymnastic. For the FG, their utility will be for the Volleyball, Tennis and Badminton Events. The Number of Seats is around the 17.000.Attention, the list of the arenas is imcomplete, and this can be changed, depending of what new sports are going to be played on these games. When the new sports will be known, an update of this will be made. |
