Besides the roleplaying stuff, probably the best trait to have in this contest is fair-play. It's just essential. Everyfuckingbody deserves the final as much as you do; calling people's songs crap, shit, or whatsoever is just insensible because quite a few people worked hard on National Selections (where you could supposedly vote btw) or spent a lot of time in searching a decent/powerful entry. It's ok to have an opinion, but at least state it respectfully because as Phil said, things can hurt.  Mihai btw I think you kinda made a shade of yourself with the last two posts of yours, but whatever.. There are ways and ways. Song-wise, the semifinal was really predictable, but honestly most of the songs were at the same level, thus making voting more difficult, and unfortunately some of them failed to qualify ;_; I'm so thankful  Estonia got enough points to qualify this time   Thank you so much for voting for Grete guys!   Belgium omfg they made it yass *.*   Cyprus yay a dark horse  I like the song though  I'm happy every other country qualified because I loved all the other songs I'm particularly happy for  Norway and  Sweden  On the other hand, I'm sad for  Romania,  Finland and  France ;__; Better luck next time! |

Yaay for   But congratulations to all the qualifiers, some were expected and congratulations to all the users who managed to qualify for the first time. I barely participate anywhere besides this contest, so I don't care if a song is overused or not. Friendly Fire starts to grow on me eventually..and whenever I like they do really well in the final. (#3 and #13 for example) I'd switch   with and  eventually Otherwise some acts were sure qualifiers imo (for example:  ) |

Imo it's okay to say, that you dislike a song and that it is overrated, as long as you are polite. I mean, for me I don't care when there are people who say " Austria is overrated, bla bla should have qualified instead" as long as they don't say " Austria is the biggest shit ever, whenever I hear it I puke while throwing my chair, my laptop and my dog against the wall, let the user die"  I also said that I'm not too unhappy that some songs failed to qualify because why should I say that someone should qualify when I don't think so ? Again, if you're polite it's okay  I agree that everyone deserves to qualify, but I don't agree that you shouldn't state your opinion, when you think that a song is overrated, as long as you stay nice |
