The voting is now closed!All obligatory votes are in, that means we have the results and no one is DSQ! As only two optional voters are left and there's been no sign they would vote, we decided to close the voting a few hours earlier. Thanks to you all for being so punctual  Results will be revealed asap, maybe first on Togethertube  You'll be informed in any case.

Oh wow, so 51 countries and all of them voted (excepting the 2 Aq's), unbelievable because of how in past editions there were like 3 DQ's each and now with so many players there were not a single DQ'd one, that's pretty awesome!   |

I have decided for #44 to use original song (instead of cover that I planned before) that is recorded together with one of the most popular Hip-Hop artists in Latvia (because she doesn't have any song by herself yet) . I know that those covers most likely would have a better chance to better positions (because this will be hip-hop/r'n'b kinda song), but I don't want to feel bad if I receive good position with a song that actually isn't from Latvia. If there ever will be a "cover special edition", then I most likely would use them. Although I would like to get a good position (and I hope for it every edition), the contest isn't really about results, but to discover something new from each country, because the popular things we see, hear and read every day even without these forums... This decade so far I'm more experimenting myself and lately I'm not an often guest in finals, so another not so good result wouldn't change anything anyway P.S. When I will reveal my entry for #44, you will be able to search for this girl on YT and listen to those covers by yourself |
