Oh that's really sad to hear I want to say that I have so much respect for you πππππππ you did a very great job and I definetely respect your decission to close IMF, I had my own contest too and needed to close it after 3 editions because it was to hard to handle with school and as you said it shouldn't stand in the way of your real life and that's what bothered me too so I have tons of respect for you by keeping this up for so long really well done ! I joined IMF in #19 with Greenland and I can say I really enjoyed the first editions where I participed and my interest went down a little when the random countries started (no offense it was a very great organisized system) because I lost Greenland after the usual system returned I got Luxembourg but around 2 Γ 3 months after that I got the chance to join NVSC wich meant all my time would go to there so I kind of lost my interest in IMF (no offense again I really love and respect what you have done). And last but not least I wish you, Florian some more free time for yourself and good luck with your studies and I hope that there will be some more great times for you in all the other contest you are participating in without the worries of managing an own ! edit : all the editions that I participated I really enjoyed and it was my first contest here (like many) so it will be forever in my heart

Such a sad and unexpected decision, but I respect it. I loved this contest. From the beginning.. Turkmenistan.. was I serious? It was interesting indeed with the times like the tours, interviews, etc.. ( Matt ) But then I get Luxembourg. I was disappointed when I kept failing.. but I sent something Dutch and got my best result so far at this contest. I don't even care if Tom complained, I felt sensitive about it but then I came to realizing it's a song contest and even if people don't agree that Luxembourg borrows from The Netherlands, I moved on to get my favourite country Iceland (which I thank Matt again for.. don't know how long I'd survive with Luxembourg ) and while I've had my ups and downs with the country.. the best I could get is 7th. But I sent what I liked and even if I'm disappointed, I didn't care. I participated anyway. I'm very sad because this is the closest contest to NVSC that I would have Iceland in. But then again.. nothing says that getting Iceland in NVSC is impossible. ^^ Also the random country editions were amazing (even if I didn't like it at first due to losing Iceland :x ) as I discovered different songs for different countries. Ironically I did my best result with the UK And worst with Latvia.. with a song I loved. But those were good times. Sad that I don't think #32 will continue but idk. If it would, the only thing I'd hope for is to qualify again. I haven't been in a final since July 2015. But well, it comes to an end. And I'm exactly the same with you and exams. This year is so important, I might be inactive at some points (In June and maybe slightly late February) as I have to study if I want to get what I want to do in college. But I never think about leaving this place.. it's too good. I've made loads of friends including you Florian and I believe it was great ^^ There has been senseless arguments during my time here (I don't need to mention.. you can just look back) and it really annoyed me.. but regardless you ran your contest your way. So indeed! I had so much fun participating here even if there were ups and downs. Good luck though in real life studies too. It's complicated enough but we'll pull through

I don't really know where to begin with IMF is the biggest contest, I'm participating in (though FC is on it's way) and I got the best country I could imagine. I was part of this contest for only three editions and I really wish it would have been more. I completely understand your decision though. Thanks for giving me the key to recap-making, you taught me only this one thing (how to insert and download videos) but without it, I couldn't be co-hosting a contest now, or do recaps for my NS. I honestly didn't see this coming and I would have loved to do more editions of 4Portugal (although fairly nobody voted). Katia Aveiro couldn't even participate once with her masterpiece "Delicia", I always kept it for being AQ, bcz I expected to get 0 points. Viel GlΓΌck mit deiner Schule und deinem Abschluss! I want to close this with saying once more, that this was one of the best contests here on the forums and it was one I really enjoyed!

I really understand your decision, and wish you good luck with school I was supposed to rejoin in the current edition, but nevermind. At least I have many good memories with Norway from past editions, with both ups and downs. Well... this contest gave me a new friend at least, and thank you πππππππ for hosting this contest, which I have loved, showed interest for and so on. IMF is also the reason why I became more active on the forums, even though I joined it as early as July 2012. And again, good luck with your studies, I believe in you

Unexpected, but at the same time I can agree with your decision. IMF has been one of the nicest contest I've been, and I've always been happy to participate here. Good luck with your studies, Flo

Well, it's very sad to see IMF closing as I was very excited about my debut in 32. However, I fully understand why you have decided to do this. I've always been amazed by the designs of IMF and how fastly you were doing everything. The designs were always great and the videos were made fastly and in perfect quality.
Thank you for the effort you've put into this amazing contest!
