DANSK MELODI GRAND PRIX 13Announcement Thread
The thirteenth edition of Dansk Melodi Grand Prix will be held to select the
Danish entry for the upcoming eighteenth edition of the North Vision Song Contest.

26 January 2016: Songs Announcement
27 January 2016: Running Order Draw
30 January 2016: Final Recap
6 February 2016: Super-final Recap
20 February 2016: Super-final Results
THE FORMATThe format of the selection will remain the same as last edition: there will be
one final with ten acts participating in it. The top four will then advance to the
next stage, the super-final, where the public will decide the winner.
THE ENTRIESThe broadcaster has selected ten songs for this edition and the artists and their songs
will be presented on two different days: on 24 and 26 January 2016 respectively.
The ten selected entries will compete in the final of the selection and the
four most voted will proceed to the super-final where the winner will be decided.

THE VOTINGIn the first round, the final, the voting system will be the same as in Northvision.
The countries will have to give 12, 10 and 8 to 1 to the ten participating songs.
In the second round, the super-final, the voters have to share 5,000 votes between the
four participating songs. However, less than 50 or more than 4,500 votes cannot be given.
All countries, including the non participants, are allowed to vote in both rounds.
However, votes of non-participants will be combined to make up the "Rest of the World" jury.
