Croatia again in 2nd chance. I mean, I'm really dissapointed. I gave you the best song Croatia could ofter. Such emotions are anywhere to be found. And onlu 2nd chance. I don't know what to think.
I mean, I can send Severina, Petra Kovacevic, Uciteljice, Maja Suput or Lidija Bacic. But, I don't want good results with songs I don't like. I mean, there are few songs I like from those artists, but most of the songs from there are pure trash. And according to previous results of Severina's stay here, it's evident that you like trash.
I don't know what to say. I'd probabbly withdraw after this contest. There are so many good songs from Croatia, but in croatian language, and I don't think you'd like it. But, ok, it is important that I like the song.
And thanks everyone who voted for Nika Antolos and Luna to go to 2nd chance, but stil there is a emptyness in me because I expected you would understand and appreciate that song. But, there is no reason I should feel bad, and I don't. I liked the song, and that's what is important. |

I could really say all this from my side as well, but it's not worth it, because it won't change anything... now I'm just sending random songs I like without even thinking if you'll like them or not... that's probably why my results lately are as they are... this qualification was really unexpected for me, because normally hip-hop songs don't do very well, but I guess this was an exception... ofc there's still final which will really tell if you liked it or not... but I'm ok, because I know that I like this song (and others that I send) and that is the most important right now for me... Imagine - I'm participating in my 28 edition already (13 times qualified (although 2 were selected as qild cards when this option was on) - 15 non-qualifications) and my best result still is the one that I got on my debut - 7th place with no one else but Lauris Reiniks... Don't you think that I'm not tired of waiting, when I will finally set a new best result?  |

There are almost 50 other people who send songs they like and who try to be successful, it's impossible that all of them can do well or qualify. In fact not even 50% could qualify directly from the semi-finals. Believe it or not, some countries struggle most of the time to even make it to the 2nd chance round. Normally I don't reply to such posts as people can be emotional in the first minutes afterwards, but I must say I find it sad that people often only focus on what place they get and don't appreciate what's going on around it. This contest and any other is not only about results, it's about getting to know new artists and music and maybe discuss about it with others here and there. Besides that, imo it's rude to call songs other people might like "trash". My 2 cents about it. |
