 Normandie is off to Oslo!
SVT has decided to take a small risk for WWWSC #44, and therefor will send a well unknown rockband to Oslo.
Normandie is a rock band from Örebro, consisting of four members.
The song that they will perform in Oslo is:

 Finnish entry: Ville Valo &   Natalia Avelon - Summer Wine Omfg yas!  etc.  I also like the songs for Moldova, Italy, India and Indonesia.
 I'm currently looking for a "replacement entry" because the one I actually wanted to participate with isn't on youtube of course. I hope that will change during the next time as the acts album will be out in April. |

As you should know in the current decade I'm nooodling around a bit with different genres etc, which surprisingly has worked quite well so far. And I'm also trying to avoid unoriginal stuff at least for a few editions. Considering the fact that the last one I know that it is was in #39 I think I'm on a good way at the moment.
So the song for #44 is extralargeswitzerlanddiamond Fraui - Zähme um d'Wält extralargeswitzerlanddiamond (translation: Together around the world) Timeslot: 1:37-2:05 This is a song from 2012. As you can see in the clip there is a little plane. This song was song for the special action that a young man wanted to fly once around the world in 80 days (or something like that - I don't remember properly) and collect money for Unicef. As a matter of fact the song charted back in spring 2012 on #8 and stayed in the charts for totally 9 weeks. If anybody wants I can translate the lyrics.  |

 After  Canada achieved it's best result last edition (11th), CBC can gladly confirm
that the country will surely participate in  Norway. After several discussions, CBC
can confirm that the entry will be internally selected again. Presenting, the  Canadian entry!
