That would be weird (in a bad way) if a song with grammatically incorrect (doesn't even matter which language) song title would win... and the song itself imo isn't good enough to deserve a victory... that's my opinion, but I know that it will do well anyway... ... but the song title is grammatically correct

Just wondering, how is it correct, if british people don't use it like that...

Just wondering, how is it correct, if british people don't use it like that... (Random youtube comment... I don't know if it's correct ) "In this case, when you're expressing the subjunctive mode, in a hypothetical situation you use were, not was. If I were, if you were, if he/she were sorry. No "was" in this case. It's hypothetical... where he sings about what he would do if he were sorry... but he isn't. Just like in Beyoncé's "If I were a boy", she is not singing about that she was a boy. It's a hypothetical situation what she would do if she were a boy, which she is not."

Was it like this with "Euphoria"? I think "Euphoria" was a lot higher in the charts. Most of the charts that "If I Were Sorry" hit are mostly outside of the top 50. Only Sweden (#1) and Finland (#39) reached within the top 50
