  Last edition, there was 5 girlbands in Äwenfestïvali. This edition there's only one, and this is Asyl. Asyl teamed up with Ardak Balazhanova, and the song is not something you would expect. With traditional Kazakh instruments and sounds, will this song be enough to convince the viewers from both Kazakhstan and Europe that this is the song North Vision needs?
  One thing is known for sure: if Katrin doesn't win Äwenfestïvali, "Pro leto Almaty" is sure to become a summer hit in Kazakhstan. It has everything needed for a hit, it's catchy, dancy and overall summery. But will this be enough to take this summer hit to North Vision, and will the European crowd appreciate it?
  Sasha Holiday is a singer from Russia, who is taking part in Äwenfestïvali this edition as a foreign act. Her song is bilingual, between English and Russian and has already caught the attention of many fans, and is one of the favourites to take the win. Will it be crowned the winner of Äwenfestïvali and could it go far in North Vision?
  Xenia has already participated in Äwenfestïvali once, in the 15th edition, when her dance hit "Understand" came last in both jury and televoting. This edition, Xenia has returned, teaming up with Marks for "Qasyma kelshi". It surely is catchy, but will this be enough to qualify to the final and possibly win and represent Kazakhstan?
  Aysa has joined rapper Mustang in "Zhuregim", a dance song, that definitely will grab you along. However, does it have a chance to qualify, or even win?
