The whole thing was a joke at both people who try and make it out NVSC or the players in it are superior*, and those who avidly complain about such. All in all, it was all lighthearted, soooooo just laugh *which isn't the council members normally

NVSC is trying to create some kind of 'empire' but in a totally wrong way. I appreciate the fact it's a very popular contest here but first of all, if this forum becomes the NVSC one then I don't see a reason in keeping a thread for my contest here as well as it doesn't belong to NVSC and it is not managed by people from NBU either. Furthermore, you can't say that people working for NVSC work harder than any other contest manager. I am currently serving in the army, I have 2 nights only every week to spend at home and I have to work for my contest while having a life and friends outside this online world. I believe that only a few people would have to sacrifice a lot of their free tike for a contest especially when serving in the army which is something more than tiring as hell. It's logical for you to call the NBU staff hard working though as they are probably online most of the time without having a life outside this. I have been running this competition with my partner even before NVSC was created and I think our players give us the courage and the motivation to move on after so many years. I guess that this is not only my case but probably the case of some others here as well so a little bit of respect is needed. 1) Some kind of empire? Excepting this one-off april fools' day, nobody ever tried that lmfao. If people follow the contest and give us positive feedback then it all just goes naturally. 2) I don't think if you got the joke, the forums are never actually turning into any "NVSC forums", and that's just because the community is way too big for the forums to afford such a big change. 3) I'm also legitimately convinced you never talked to many (and probably not with any other NBU Council member), so step back when judging our own social lives All in all, we hope you all had a great April Fools's Day/Pork Chop Festival Fair enough, I see that you're doing something such as the army, but you can't just use that as a factor when part of an on-line contest because practically all of us on this forum in some way have something that is a major form of our lives. A lot of the forum members for example are still in education and go to school, so will have homework and exams. Whereas I am being formally treated for depression, on suicide watch and have had a massive increase in seizures with my epilepsy in the last few months, I have no job and two days ago was the one year anniversary of the death of my sister who I found dead in her bed and tried to revive with CPR last year, but couldn't. But I didn't complain about the change/joke once because I know what its like to suddenly lose life and you don't know when you're doing to die, so sitting on a computer ranting away about the design of a forum and a few words isn't something you should complain about. It's not going to be a momentous thing that you should consider as a stab to the heart... some people's reactions were as if it was a travesty. I. Never. Complained. ONCE. But I'm venting anger now because I don't want to see you all spouting out words of intolerance and saying stupid things because its not worth your time and you just don't know when life is going to bite your ass and kill you and you'll be swept off the Earth and out of existence. Laugh it off and move the hell on.

I am very glad (unlike some others here) that eventually this was a joke but I do, think that it was also good for you to do that, even as a joke, so that you can see the reactions in case you ever decide to do that (hopefully not).

lol idc if this isn't a joke, really Can't you just guys appreciate that NVSC is bassically the main contest here and it really outshadowed ESC? Also the NBU council works harder than any other contest in here (no mean to offend anyone, but that's the truth), so with all that said I really don't care if the forums will be called nvscforums.com. Literally you guys complain about everything.. I guess that this is not only my case but probably the case of some others here as well so a little bit of respect is needed. Excuse me? At least now we can see the true black sheeps here. The sense behind this joke was to take all the shit you haters write about NVSC and the NVSC staff and make it actually like you think it is, to then return it to the old way. We are not trying to build an empire, how even, if it all falls on us while we are just managing a contest as best as we can? The fact that you tell we don't have a life outside this makes me laugh so hard, because I barely have time for NVSC, still made the recaps. But okay, you are in the military, I fucking care for my mother because she is ill af and I am doing my final exams of school aswell as preparing for a course of study at a uni. But well, I don't have a life I guess? Our reason to do this was to show that we are not at all believing that NVSC is some kind of superior to other contests. We just made the contest as realistic as possible, that is the basic idea behind NVSC. But all you do is to keep writing shit like this without even thinking about it for a second? We are not the bad ones, it's the ones who do not think and it would be a great idea to come down from your "big horse" which is your contest, since all the contests are great in their own way and deserve to be in the same place (aka this forum). I never talk to you but the only impression you made on me with this is that you can't handle the fact that someone is more successful than you. Geez, we are not trying to, we all participate in contests outside NVSC. It's not that we want to be the best contest ever. Just stop hating for no reason, because there is little to hate about NVSC in general, just like almost every other popular contest. Peace.
