I'm actually quite optimistic, looking at the participants, they have pretty good voices, so if the songs really get written especially for them, I'm quite sure there'll be some strong ones among them.

Actually, as I read, there are only two songs, but there will be 5 different versions of both of them. :/

A similar selection format was used to pick Lena and Roman Lob, who were my 1st, and 4th favourites in the years they entered.. so tbh I have high hopes for  Deutschland! |

Sadi withdrew from the competition because he's soon going to court for accusations of stealing. The new contestant is Yosefin Buohler, a former contestant of Idol Sverige.

SONG TITLES REVEALED!
We will either be seeing "Wildfire" or "Perfect Life" for Germany at Kiev, Ukraine.
The song "Wildfire" is written by Tofer Brown, Marit Larsen & Greg Holden,
whilst "Perfect Life" is written by Lindsey Ray, Lindy Robbins & Dave Bassett. |

Official Procedure:
Round 1: All 5 artists will sing cover songs (2 will be eliminated)
Round 2: The Top 3 artists will sing their first ESC song (1 will be eliminated)
Round 3: The Top 2 artists will sing their second ESC song
Round 4: The combination of Round 2 and 3 with the most votes will be performed again. This can either be one artist who performs both songs, two artists who perform different songs or two artists who will perform the same song.
