My first impression: 01.  Dismissed - "Hearts Align" - interesting melody, like it 02. Etzia - "Up" - ok 03. Roger Pontare - "Himmel Och Hav" - at least it's something different, need to hear the chorus 04. Mariette - "A Million Years" - the biggest disappointment of the semi, it could grow on me later 05. Allywan - "Vart Haru Varit" - that's so boring 06. Lisa Ajax - "I Don't Give A" - couldn't be cheaper, originality - 0% 07. Benjamin Ingrosso - "Good Lovin'" - incredibly cheap and camp crap (a.k.a the worst music ever), lol |

idk I feel like this semi is much weaker than semi 1.
My top 2 is currently staying in there until saturday, as I absolutely love those songs, but I feel like none of these are gonna get into the final,
as we got songs from Mariette, Ajax and Ingrosso, and all three are pretty much favourited by the swedish public.
Atleast I have the chance to see ATLEAST one of them in the second chance (and from there, I have to vote the shit out of them).
Allyawan was a obvious last place for me.
and tbh I didn't even know what to do with Lisa, Etzia and Benjamin's placements. Benjamin's rehearsal barely gave me anything to judge, and both Etzia & Lisa had messy songs.
Atleast Benjamin showed more in his rehearsal and song, so he'll stay 4th for now.
Speaking of artists: I am so glad that Roger Pontare decided to return, as I love ethnical songs like these <333
But when it's about Mariette and Lisa...
Honestly, both of them disappointed me.
Lisa's song is repetitive as hell during the chorus, and the performance doesn't really shine for me either.
Mariette's song is still nice, and her performance is actually great, I'll give her that.
But what kinda annoys me is that she is going for a song that isn't really her style, and especially since it's a unoriginal choice. Luckly she saved it with her voice, but I damn straight hope the rest of the song is better than what I've heard so far.
Exciting second semi, if I've got to be honest. Can't already wait for Saturday o/

Am I the only one who thinks that Rene's song  "Her Kiss" is identical with The Pointer Sisters' song  "I'm So Excited"    at least at the chorus... Ah that's why it sounds so familiar... |
