 On Tuesday, the official broadcaster of  De Vremdspongeln decided to participate in the upcoming Fantasia Contest. However, due to the poor results in the previous contests, they weren't sure about which selection method would be the perfect, so that's why they made an online poll in the official site of De Vremd 1 (devremd1.dv), where the public could choose from 3 options.
1) Select the song and the singer internally
2) Make a national final to find the best song
3) Withdraw from the contest
The broadcaster closed the poll on Thursday, and 72% of the voters voted for the second option, which means we'll held a National Final again due to last edition's chaos cause of producers and lack of funds.
After this decision a lot of artists called De Vremd 1, and they chose 8 songs from different artists all over De Vremdspongeln to compete in the National Final.
The voting will contain: 50% - 9 jury members + the Vremd public as the last jury member.
50% - Televotes from all around the world
So the applications are opened now, you can apply as a jury member in the comments (I hope I'll get 9 countries).) [If mroe then 9 countries apply, then a draw will be held for the jury places].
The 8 participating singers or bands will be announced in the next days, with the first artist announced today.
The voting: You can give 0pt,  ,  ,  ,  ,  ,  and 12pt for your favourite songs.
