After hosting a successful contest last edition, CBC can confirm that Canada will be present in the upcoming edition of the contest. For the first time in the country's history, a national selection will be used to select its entry. Some of the nations most popular singers, Céline Dion, Shawn Mendes and Alessia Cara have been rumored as some of the artists. CBC has confirmed that the selection will begin this week, with up to five artists!

I was going to withdraw again but considering I'm an automatic qualifier, I'd be foolish to. New Zealand will present their song at some point after I've finished my last mock exam (which is tomorrow). I'll give a little hint and say that the artist's style of music is rather alternative with elements of pop and electropop, VERY similar to Broods and Lorde.

Glad to hear you're staying (although you shouldn't have stayed so that I could be a direct finalist ._.). Nah, jk, I am glad you are staying with us and I hope you can keep taking part in the upcoming editions as well!

Out of what I heard so far (which is not much though) I only like the entry from Venezuela which I've known already from somewhere. Well, then, please, explain those 3 likes on songs ( , , ) on the first page (maybe some others on other pages)! Are they just "fake" likes so we would think that you like those songs? I mean, I press the like button only when I really like the song, not just to fool someone No offence ofc. No I actually often like song announcements for a reason.

The winner of TCoH 5 and so the Dutch entry is: Trinity - We are born (0:52-1:12) A slightly different song, with oriental influences, hopefully you'll like it as much as I do. I really love this song, but I was really divided when deciding the NS (my vote was the decider, it was that close). The second place song is also really close to me, but yeah, it was my mistake to put two of my all time favorites in one NS Lol, they literally released the official audio yesterday Picture:
