It makes me really angry that I cant say anything without. "If you arent happy, then withdraw" That was really only a little suggestion I made. Im just not the person, who supports everything and doesnt complain. And I wouldnt waste any time, if I didnt like the contest, believe me. And I WONT withdraw, I just WONT. Sorry to disappoint some here.

You are known to criticize everything the council has ever done. Maybe another contest will please your needs? Even if that means loosing a source of points for Moldova.

That I critisize many things [not all], doesnt mean that Im not overall happy with the contest and the council's work. I dont understand, what I particularly did wrong again. And Im over this topic, because I have said everything I needed to.

Did we have to send our full ranking for both televoting & jury (a.k.a 1st to 21st), or just the top 10 from both?

So instead of just having one voting system throughout the contest, there's now two, and one of them follows a format that was devised for an actual contest rather than an online game? Sorry, but this is overly complicated with no actual payoff that's worth the hassle. It also assumes that every country will have two voters, but what if I don't want a Co-HoD (I don't). Does that mean I'm free to manipulate both sets of votes? That's a huge opportunity for corruption, imo. Also it just feels... unnecessary? Like, why isn't voting for a top 10 good enough? NVSC is lucky that they've got a 70-person long list of people who want to play because if a smaller contest was pulling stunts like this, it'd lose all its players so fast.

I don't see any way to manipulate the voting with this system.

Analyzing this, trying to understand you Nick So instead of just having one voting system throughout the contest, there's now two, and one of them follows a format that was devised for an actual contest rather than an online game? Sorry, but this is overly complicated with no actual payoff that's worth the hassle. It's the same as before, there's always been split voting. There were just some users that found it too hard to split vote the way it was before so we watched ESC this year to see how the whole thing works and we were positively surprised so we took this over, making it easier to vote. It also assumes that every country will have two voters, but what if I don't want a Co-HoD (I don't). No it doesn't Does that mean I'm free to manipulate both sets of votes? That's a huge opportunity for corruption, imo. In what way? Then you could also be corrupt with the 'old' voting Also it just feels... unnecessary? Like, why isn't voting for a top 10 good enough? It has a lot of positive effects for us as hosts and users, as all the arguments that are listed in the first post are active NVSC is lucky that they've got a 70-person long list of people who want to play because if a smaller contest was pulling stunts like this, it'd lose all its players so fast. I really don't think so

NVSC is lucky that they've got a 70-person long list of people who want to play because if a smaller contest was pulling stunts like this, it'd lose all its players so fast. Firstly, there's just one (new) voting system, not two And in the end, the system is the same, really. The only thing that changes ( positively, by the way) is the fact you can give points to all of your favourites, instead of hardly picking 10 of them (Just on a side note, you can basically rate up to 20 countries with this system lmao). It's not a big change because doing split results for TV/Jury has always existed, just that now, instead of being combined, they both get added to the overall score. And no, you don't need two CoHoDs obviously, because you can develop the two ranks on your own And about manipulation, it's actually the opposite, and let me explain you why! With the old system, if you loved, let's say, Portugal enough to rank it 1st, but then your CoHoD ranked it 25th, it would probably end up 11th getting no points at all. Meanwhile, with the new system, if the same case happens Portugal would still get 12 points, which is a lot: this way both sets of votes don't overshadow eachother. And as I said, you don't need to have a CoHoD, because you can do everything on your own And last but not least, it apparently takes less time to create results video with the new system, so hey hey
