There are rumors going around that Israel might withdraw from the upcoming edition of the North Vision Song Contest.
No statement is given by now. A final decision will be made at a later point. |

Following the change of the broadcaster and a HoD change, 2M TV confirms that  Morocco will make its return in the contest!
Our entry will be selected internally and is expected to be revealed shortly after the final results of  NVSC #19.
Until then, we'd like to wish the best of luck to all the contestants in the current edition and may the best song win! |

 BUDGET CUTS FACING TELERADIO MOLDOVA?Chisinau, Republic of Moldova
It has been reported by various internally, smaller magazines and newspaper that the recent
national selection methods have proven costly for the Moldovan broadcaster. With various
semi-finals and juries invited to a show filled with expensive technology used, TeleRadio Moldova
may be forced to cut its expenses for the popular song contest.
Professional observers are sceptical, going as far as not entirely excluding a
withdrawal of the country if the selection method's not being adjusted to the
conditions in Moldova.
Still, nothing has been confirmed or declined by the broadcaster. These are mere rumours. |

After a successful national selection, watched by about 66% of the Dutch viewing audience, AVROTROS is preparing another national selection for NVSC #20! |

 Austria confirms its participation !
Vienna, June 6th 2016: Cholien Julianmann, HoD of Austria, announced that Austria will compete once again with a new edition of "Your Choice for Austria". As always, it will change its system. In #16, YCFA was a normal NS with 8 songs. In #18, YCFA #2 included international coaches to search for an entry. What will happen in #20 ?
Cholien Julianmann: "After our most recent YCFA edition we decided to change the system once more, since our participation in #18 didn't went well with the song "Rocket Man" suggested by the  Swedish Coach. For #20, YCFA will turn into a tournament with 8 songs. There'll be 3 rounds: in round 1, there'll be 4 battles with 2 songs in each. The 4 winners will move to round 2, where there will be 2 more duels to find the 2 finalists, who will battle for the ticket to NVSC in round 3. We hope this new system will help us to find a good song !"
