BREAKING NEWS FROM SEOUL
The Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) has decided upon the song which will represent South Korea in the Associate Broadcasters Final in Stockholm for a chance to compete in Tirana. After thousands of acts, sent by artists and entertainment companies, KBS went through an excruciating process to find the best South Korean song.
A quote from the Head of Delegation was:
"An aim was to find a song released in the present year, to represent the nation's current distinctive music which shows our growing dominance in the world music scene. We also wanted to give a chance to relatively new, yet gifted artist/s who would present the winning spirit we desired along with a chance to increase their image not only in South Korea, but across the globe"
Whilst most songs were rejected, one was chosen. But first, let us now reveal the act which will represent our nation is...
B.I.G (Boys In Groove)
B.I.G is a five-member South Korean boy group under GH Entertainment. They debuted on July 9, 2014 with the single "Hello". The guys themselves are Benji, Gun Min, Hee Do, J-Hoon and Gook Min Pyo. They encapsulate the young, fresh, colourful display of South Korean music with terrific songs and a wide variety of different styles.
And now, the song which B.I.G will sing in Stockholm to reach for the title will be...
"Aphrodite"

The artist that will represent Hong Kong is...
G.E.M
Gloria Tang Tsz-kei is a Chinese-Hongkonger singer-songwriter. She is better known by her stage name G.E.M. an acronym for Get Everybody Moving. Gloria made her music debut in 2008 with the self-titled EP GEM. She has since become one of Hong Kong's best-selling musical artists, winning IFPI Hong Kong's Top Selling Female Artist award in 2012.
G.E.M. gained popularity in Greater China after her appearance on Hunan Television's programme "I Am a Singer" in 2014. Her fan base also extends to the United States, Canada, Australia, and Southeast Asia. The same year, she won the Favorite Asian Act award at the 2014 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. In 2015, she was ranked eleventh in Forbes' China Celebrity List.
In 2016, she concluded a two-year world tour titled X.X.X. Live, and was the only Asian artist featured in Forbes' 30 Under 30: Music shortlist.
