                                  The National Final for Croatia is still running!
                          Today the Broadcaster HRT revealed that the results will be
                                  presented on the 1st September 2016 at 8 p.m.

Today the Dutch broadcaster Avrotos confirmed that they were forced to change the entry. Originally they sent Archis with their song Blood. Shortly after Avrotos was told by the IBU council, that the relations of the band members weren't strong enough to the Netherlands, therefore the broadcaster needed to change their entry. Avrotos excused themselves for their accidental try to disband the contests rules. They stated how it could have come that they sent accidentally a "wrong" entry:
When we were informed about the song, our delegation immediately fell in love with it. When we contacted the band and asked them if they wanna participate they immediately agreed. In our enthusiasm we didn't looked up their connection more then needed, and the band, probably because they didn't know the exact rules, didn't inform us either. We're deeply sorry about our mistake.
Despite this, there will be no sanctions against the broadcaster or the delegation.

A new entry was already found and sent for approval!
The HoD stated: Luckily the Netherlands have a great music industry, so it was quite easy to find a new entry, and the singer was happy to get a unexpected chance to wave the Dutch flag in Bulgaria
