Tbh I don't think I deserved last, or at least not in the jury because really in terms of originality and vocal ability it was miles above some of the other songs. Idk it's slightly annoying when kinda generic pop songs do well in contests so often, it makes it a little dull (though I'm aware I've sent them myself before). Saying that, I'm very happy the winner isn't one of those songs and most of the top 10 (more or less) was deserved and I think it was highly deserved. Congrats  |

Ugh 21st For  Jarea, slightly bummed out about that as i expected to do better tbh.   should be in the top 5, criminally underrated. its an okay winner, but not may favourite  Why are you in the top 5, really overrated IMO  , Fully deserved, especially Te Ao In all, okay results tbh, but what we have to remember that these are votes from 3 months ago, and some songs have been heavily used since then. |

So, guys, what could I tell you?
With what could I start?
We all know the country located in Southern Centralia, called Maronesia, right? We all know that this was the country that half a year ago (before FC #04), could barely afford it to a place, higher than the bottom 5 in semis, right?
We all know that we should send the songs we love, no matter the result. And as the HoD of this country, I think I was doing it. Even if I was getting on my nerves for being that low every edition, in 2015 at this time of the year, I wouldn't even imagine myself winning this contest. Even if my results were a true disaster, I am still not ashamed to admit those were my entries.
Remember, the third edition of the contest? When the dark-haired girl came on the stage, performing the song about the sad reality, that happens so often nowdays?
When you're heartbroken, I think "Drowning" is one of the best songs you could listen to. Back then, many people were rumouring that this could be the first time when the centralian country would qualify, and I was like, "Could this really happen?".
Unfortunatelly, it didn't. I felt pretty disappointed because this song was one of my favourite ones from 2015 and we all know that the threat of unpredictibility when you finally get confident about yourself doesn't feel good at all, no matter in real life or an online contest or wherever.
But I didn't give up.
Last edition we did a miracle and managed to qualify for the first time. It felt amazingly great, like, something so long-waited and so shockingly, like, who was expecting that this country would finally manage to send something amazing and even score into the top 10?
And if last edition's result managed to make me happy and way more confident about my future in this contest, this edition's one literally teared me up.
When the dark-haired girl appeared on the stage this time, she knew why she was coming here. This time, I got more confident about my entry, even if she failed in the semi last time, even if the BO's were saying she would be a borderline qualifier, she totally proved the opposite. I think she believed in herself and she did the best she could.
And after three months of waiting and hoping, three months in predicting what could finally happen...
I don't know what to say, 2016 wasn't the best year for me at all, but the successful end you brought me guys, definitelly wasn't what I expected to happen.
To cry by happiness because of an online contest.
Jesus, it might sound weird to some people honestly, as if I have no real life and stuff, it might make them think like "lmao are you a loser or sth".
But when you are a person, that enjoys the little things that life suggests, every day, without caring how the others would react, then, my dearests, then you definitelly achieved an approximatelly high level of happiness, if you ask me.
I am used to crying over the little things, no matter good or bad, but I don't think I could get better Christmas present than this one, which makes me tear up even during writing this post. I am such an emotional person, so emotional that it even sucks sometimes, but I love expressing my feelings and I think that's the mainest reason I am doing this post, even after nearly 4 months absence of forums.
I want to thank the       Fantasia Council for their amazing work this edition. Akureyri has been an amazing host and let's hope Vamislava would do their work faster, at least.
Just kidding. We all know Mark had so many troubles during doing the results and we all had to respect him. After all, our real lives matter the most.
Now guys, I want to thank all of you who supported me in both the Semi-Final and the Grand Final. From the beginning till the end,  ,  , ,  , ,  ,  and all the rest of who I can't remember right now, thank you guys, you're all amazing. I am glad you guys appreciated my favourite song of 2016 in the best possible way, I love you all for that. Even a single point would still matter.
Now guys, talking about my opinion -  Prunia, Alkyria,  Evamaa, Dyria *still shocked here* were extremelly underrated.
I don't think there are pretty overrated songs this time, maybe Cercasia but it got what I expected honestly.
Te Ao was the other surprise of the night honestly - the country I gave 12 from my juries, beating me for just a point, haha. And yet, it was totally deserved, it makes me so happy seeing an underrated song, expected to be an outsider making the best result for the country - even entering the top 5. I want to say how glad I am for seeing Andra high and I hope Niklas will keep on sending those amazing entries. Congratulations, honey.
Congratulations to Beklium, qualifying for the first time and doing their best result ever, same goes to  Pohunskia, which follows my success, scoring even better every editon. - surprised they aren't 6th this time, but they got what they deserved, so congratulations too. 
My poor sister-country was so underrated, gosh... such an amazing entry didn't deserve bottom 3 at all, but what compensates them is being hosts of the best edition of the contest to me (talking of both musically and technically).
Once again, thank you guys. I love all of you.
Maybe this post was a bit too much for you, but for me it's just the easiest way to express my happiness and gratitude to all of you.
I hope you'll love the sixth edition of the contest as much as you loved the fifth and maybe even more.

ok well I expected more, but you can't get anything you want  23rd place, holy moly, after all that "love" I got in the TT room k I am impressed, I actually haven't thought about this song winning in the end but the results were weird since the beginning, so tbh I am still happy about Banks getting the victory as I still like the song  Congratz Nicky, you deserved it after all the failures before (except of King Deco obvsly)! overrated (even though I'm happy for Beklium as it was their first final ever) oh god 4th is too underrated holy sh*t  well still, glad it came that high wow impressive  haven't thought it would get that high, so congratz as well ^^ all in all, I could say... ... are waaaaayyyy too underrated wtf   ...  my  are way to low placed (cry) ...  are overrated See you for #6 in Dominikaland! |

E I G H T.AND 271 POINTS Oml thank you so much for this wonderful debut <333 Really damn happy to get top 10 on my debut, and super happy for all teh votes I've managed to collect  Maronesia is a wonderful winner. Glad that it actually won.  Both of these were in my top 2. Sad to see them score so low  Overall, the results are really nice. See you in Maronesia #6 |

Bucking the trend, I actually didn't care for the winner at all, especially when I voted. It was in my bottom 3... three months ago, but I've warmed a little to it. IDK about my jury members, but they did rate it higher than me, so eh. Anyway, especially because I enjoyed the reprise version, I can comfortably say; Congrats, Maronesia!! You've been well overdue for success, so I'm glad it's found you. ˆ-ˆ As for the rest of the results, I'm actually very happy with them, as my personal top 5 (the Evämaian televote) finished top 10! Absolutely thrilled that  Ermy and Pohunskia found audiences, and that our combined 24 points could help  Evergreen into 7th. But most importantly, WE BEAT OUR PREVIOUS BEST!!!Okay yeah, it's one place, but still, improvement!!! Also, BIG THANKS to  Demonica for your 24 I hope I can return the favor next edition! Overall, this was a really satisfying edition, and a big thanks to Mark for getting the results out. I'd forgotten how much I liked some of these songs, so it's almost like a little post-Christmas present lol. See you next edition in Maronesia!! |
