 Austria has confirmed participation in Eurovision Song Contest 2012. Their national Final wase held on February 24, 2012. The final was called " Österreich rockt den Song Contest". Mirjam Weichselbraun, Robert Kratky and Andi Knoll hosted the show. Two entries advanced to the superfinal and performed again. Trackshittaz got 51% of the votes in the superfinal, the other superfinalist got 49%. Austria in ESC 2012[/size] Finalists[/b] In final running order bellow.- James Cottriall - Stand up
- Krautschädl - Einsturzgefohr
- Valerie - Comme ça
- 3punkt5 - Augenblick
- Conchita Wurst - That's what I am (runner-up)
- Mary Broadcast Band - How can you ask me
- !DelaDap - Don’t turn around
- Papermoon - Vater, father, mon père
- Trakshittaz - Woki mit deim Popo (WINNER!)
- Norbert Schneider - Medicate my blues away

I love the song. It will not win, but I like the message behind it. Call me old-fashioned, but dance-pop and mega-electronic music isn't really up my alley. Unless of course, it is in a different language  |

Conchita is okay. I don't love her song, but anything is better than Trackshittaz...or whatever.
