Do you ever ask yourself what exactly is above you.
Do you ever ask yourself what exactly is up there.
And if you stand on your toes, are you really closer,
are you touching the sky.

Do you ever notice me when I'm looking in the space,
I think it's better high up there.
When I'm sinking my thoughts in this shiny sea,
I feel like I'm a part of everything, reaching higher than possible,
picking wishes from the sky.

And I touch the zenith* with my hand, I'm leaving the Earth,
when I pick the gold from black, night after night.
And I'm collecting stars to give them to you, still warm in your palm.
They're falling on me like snow from heaven, collector of the stars.

I sometimes have, I admit, a restless night.
But the starts are the brightest in the dark nights.
Watching them, loving them, and I trust them infinitely.
I feel that I'm a part of everything, reaching higher than possible,
