 Turkey withdraws for one edition. We will return next edition for sure!  PS. Sorry for not posting my confirmation on time Mimis new how busy I was over the last week so I forgot to confirm. I hope I won't lose my country cause I will be back next edition!^^ Don't worry, your place can be kept for next time as places are reserved for 1 edition unless someone decides to withdraw forever or disappears all out of a sudden!  However, if you don't submit an entry next time and someone else wants to take  Turkey, we can give it to them...  |

Tonight we will present you the recaps of the semi finals of the WWW Song Contest #51! Right after the results of the Awards, we will watch the semi final recaps! Then, for those who are interested and have time to stay, songs will be played individually (around 1 and a half minute for each song).Entrance: 20:00 CETShow begins at 20:15 CET sharp(The times above are when the Awards results announcement show begins. Oh well.. I hate sending this song to WWWSC, I really really wanted Gabi to win A Dal and go to ESC... But since the juries didn't give a chance for the public to vote for this song, I'd like to give her a second chance, so I'm proud to announce that the  Hungarian song at #51 is: Artists: Gabi Tóth & Freddie Shuman feat. As I already said yesterday, I won't join, because Supernova starts alomst at the same time and that's my priority this evening, because I don't have anything to see immediately in awards anyway... and recaps I can watch tomorrow, when I will also vote...
P.S. How many countries have already changed their entries this edition? I think it's a record for this contest... I mean, it already starts to look like ESC, when country changes their entry (or at least the language), when they realize that the first one won't be good enough... I would suggest to give those "penalty points" to countries that change their entry like this as well, because I know that hosts don't like this and many of us most likely as well... I mean, I've wanted to change my entry multiple times, because there was at least as good song coming out just before the edition starts, but I never did, because I know that I can wait... you're scared it will become overused? It won't, trust me... and even if it does, it still will not affect the voting for it, because it's still a new song (max 1 month old)... for me the situation will be similar - Supernova will end before #52 edition even starts and the best songs will be used in other contests, but it doesn't mean that I will change something in the last minute... maybe not the best comparison, but you know what I mean... you may agree with me or disagree, but this situation just isn't right... no offence to anyone, just a suggestion to make up your mind early next time...

Ukraine and  Sweden only changed their entries this edition. Hungary had provided us with 2 entries (1 of them was eliminated from the A Dal semi final and the other 1 was the actual entry of this edition) and we agreed to accept the latter one in case it didn't win the NF instead. As for 'penalty points', I guess that yes,it is annoying, especially for me as I need some time to make the images and if someone changes their entry whilst their image has been done, it's like I've wasted some of my time, but I am not fond of the idea of having to ban people for this. There are more serious strikes such as not voting in time and these are a good reason for us to ban or disqualify someone. However, if someone is undecided in general, it doesn't mean that they should be banned for this (as long as they give us an entry, that's fine anyway lol). I guess the best thing to do is to just warn some people, if they tend to change their entries quite often, not to do so. If they don't understand and keep making entry changes, it's simple; we can just pick their firstly posted entry and that's all |

I don't see anything wrong when someone changes the song as long as it's before the deadline. I would do the same in contests where my entry would become overused meanwhile. There are some exceptions tho. What if during the confirmations a certain song got released and if you don't send it now it will be sent everywhere and you just won't send this song again. There are people (including me) who don't vote for overused songs. My reason is that I get bored of them quickly, someone can be biased and not vote for them on purpose. My final point is that this isn't something bad or to get triggered about.
