MLTV is delighted to announce that five Meilinese superstars have agreed to collaborate as a supergroup for the Fantasia Contest #07 entry of Amelia (sponsored by Pepsi). Fans of the Fantasia Contest will recognising a returning face in the line up!

This is the first non-English song the country will send, as well as the first male vocalist!
The music video for "Brennisteinn" lasts over eight minutes and features the band playing on an open stage, cutting back and forth between shots of the band and a narrative sequence which depicts the capture of a prisoner, his escape and chase. The entire music video is contrastless in Black-and-white photography, with a color splash effect that brings color only to patches of the video that are colored in shades of yellow and contrasting colors of yellow and green.

Emilie Brandt - "The Living"

Emilie Brandt is an Everish singer-songwriter, born 1994 in

Crystalfall. She started singing and performing at a young age, eventually ending up in the 2nd season of The X Factor Evergreen, where she placed 6th and was eliminated on the 7th week. She has had minor success following her X Factor participation - her first single, "Fell for You" charted in the Everish Top 40, peaking at #32.

"Participation in the Fantasia Contest is a huge honour for me, and I couldn't have been happier when EBC-IAR approached me about it. Following in the steps of some of our biggest stars like Tove Styrke and Allie X, it's like a dream come true," said Emilie in an interview given to eTV NewsHour shortly after her announcement as the Everish participant.

"The Living" is an uptempo indie dance song with an undeniably mystic atmosphere. "Obviously I put all my little weird quirks into both the song and music video, and to me it just reflects who I am. I may look like a sweet girl on the outside, but I am hugely fascinated by witchcraft and all things paranormal," Emilie told NewsHour, "I hope to bring all of these elements to the big stage in Sirenforest and hopefully the Fantasian audience will appreciate it."
