 I didn't watch the Maltese NS, so I didn't hear any of the candidates. When I learned that this was the winner, I was excited because I've heard a few of Claudia's songs before, but when I first listened to "Breathlessly," I was very very very underwhelmed. Malta, why? It's outdated (I've heard those drums in so many songs already). It sounds unoriginal (a ballad). It's forgettable to me. Actually, I didn't even want to listen to the full song. I'm bored by it. It's too early to call, but it may not qualify this year... or hopefully, they do the same thing last year and present a better song.  It has room to grow on me though. |

 really good song, not gonna downvote it just because it's "another ballad" May not be the strongest one, but it's solid, and actually quite beautiful |
