I agree the best song won, however I just don't find this song interesting For me it sounds like something not so outstanding from the 2010's electro However, it's better than most ballads, I think I'll give it a

It certainly has a 90's trance nightclub vibe to it. Her singing voice suits the song but there is something about it I don't like.
We have also found our Barbara Dex award winners!!
But overall Latvia, I like it!! Good to hear something like this in Eurovision it'll stand out!!.

I will repeat once again for those who think her vocals are weak - they are not! It's just her style of singing for this band. And it also depends on a song. This song just doesn't require good vocals, and even if it would - it would be hard to do them on song of this type! Her vocals aren't bad - they are different. Maybe that's why some of you don't like them! A fair point. I think for me personally, the song's energetic beat deserves a stronger voice to elevate the song and help engage me into the music. The song's uptempo electronic beat is halfway to drowning out her voice, especially live, since this type of electronic music has some loud and high-energy parts. Overall, her vocals are essential to the song, and I like the song already for its modern beat. I will agree on its qualification if it happens. Also, be careful with how the word "different" is used. Different how? In a bad way?

But I'll agree with you - it would be better with a stronger voice (maybe), but at the same time - we don't know how she's gonna sound on the big stage! Maybe there the sound itself will be completely different than it was in NS. I mean, there the stage and the whole building will be a lot bigger than it was here, so it might change something...

I would give this 12 but the vocalist really needs to work on her vocals otherwise this will just stay in the semifinals. Or, she may pull a Elhaida and somehow (miraculously, that is) qualify. Her voice was so unbelievably strained in their Supernova performance. I hope this won't be the case in Kiev :\ Other than that, the song is great, and I honestly don't think I've heard this kind of thing in ESC before so yay EDIT: After listening to the official audio once more, I appreciate that she has a different (and good) tone of voice but come on. Her Supernova performance was strained and you know it. She sounded like she was trying more than performing.

THIS is our no. 1?! I thought this wasn't very good but I didn't really know what to feel about it - Butis this really the forum's favorite so far? Her voice is meh (I UNDERSTAND that's the point but I just don't like it) and as a song I just don't understand it. Is this some new Triana-Park genre? THIS SHOULD NOT WIN ESC. If "Line" will qualify I'll be more than happy to welcome Latvia there once more. But this is not, under any conditions, any better than the 2015-2016 attempts, that somehow missed out on top 5 placements. "Origo", "Occidentali's Karma", "Requiem", "Running On Air", "Hey Mamma"... All these songs are fan-favorite contenders, and this is our favorite? It is not bad, but it shouldn't go anywhere near its fame. It's only because Supernova was 100% drama-less that this song gets all these rankings. That's a from me. I'm getting the point of it a little more now, but the genre is definitely not to my taste, and the song has no meaningful lyrics, the eccentricness is a little too much to me, and the Montenegro 2013 vibe just isn't working, damn it. It's repetitive and a bit pointless. Why is this better than more powerful, meaningful, strong songs that have a message to the world, and seems to mean a lot to the singer - Like in the case of "Origo"? I'll never understand.
